This meal was a huge hit a i of my family get togethers and i made threescore patties and not a single one was left at the end of the night. The only thing i'm going to exercise unlike is dip the patties in flour first and then the egg and flour again considering most of the flour washed off in the grease the first time

This is swell! There is no need for ane loving cup flour and 4 eggs. a one/2 cup flour and two eggs are sufficient. I added a 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper when making the gravy. I served this with spud pancakes and fried eggs.

Wow! This is a Great recipe - I loved having something different to do with basis beef. Definitely exist heavy on the table salt and pepper though - I added it to the ground beef, to the eggs, and to the gravy.

Equally other reviewers have stated, this was great! I didn't have any milk and then used i/2 can foam of mushroom soup with a chip of water to thin. I warmed it in the same pan and it browned wonderfully & tasted not bad.

This rather reminds me of the meat pattie DQ uses for their DQ Dude sandwich. Bang-up at all. Kids love it! Wouldn't change a thing on information technology. Effort it on a hamburger bun with mayo, lettuce and tomato.

This was so good. I did add together a picayune garlic salt into the flour. Loved information technology.

These weren't bad at all. May try once again and add together some steak seasoning to the meat earlier cooking. Used only 2 eggs and it was plenty.
12/15/2011
Wow! My kids and I loved this! Nosotros used steak and flattened it using a meat mallet instead of ground beef. The steak came out tender and the breading was crisp and flavorful. Nosotros volition be eating this once again :)

Perfect every bit is! :-)

This was tasty...I would give it about 4.5 stars. I had some problems with the breading...maybe I just didn't melt information technology long enough, but something was "off" near it. Overall, neat sense of taste!

The only modify I would make is less concoction, you lot don't demand it. Otherwise, this repast turned out amazing!

I have made this many times and it is e'er a huge hit with the family. I follow the recipe directly, only double the gravy recipe. Goes cracking with mashed potatoes

Just wasn't impressed with this meal.
04/28/2019
Very crispy and crunchy. I added a scrap more common salt and pepper. I also added a tad of onion pulverization and garlic powder.
05/28/2014
This was very skillful. I did do it my ain way though. I used more seasonings ( onion powder, cayenne pepper) in the flour. I as well used organic flour and fried it in kokosnoot oil. I will be making this again!!!

This certain does help with my budget and it is really good. The just problem I had was that I got flour all over the kitchen, which was my fault. I besides followed the communication to dip the patties in the egg before putting the coated steaks on to fry and then that the flour would stay on better.

The kids loved it and fifty-fifty asked for seconds! I used ground chicken instead of hamburger and dredged in whole wheat flour instead of regular flour. I also fabricated the gravy with lowfat milk!! I used 2 lbs of footing chicken fabricated them into patties seasoned them with a variety of spices and pan fried them. Then cooled them, dredged them and back in the pan. I will definitely make this one over again!!

The meat patties themselves were very good, just the gravy wasn't very skillful. It may have been because i used an iron skillet, but i didn't like the gravy on the patties at all. I ended up just eating information technology on a hamburger bun.

Oh boy! Can't wait to take this again! My married man and I loved it! The just change I made was to use 100% wholewheat flour, otherwise, followed it to a T! Heavenly and satisfying! Fantastic recipe, and so thrilled to have this in our regular rotation now! Thank you so much, Cookie Moster!

This was very adept! Usually I do all the cooking, only my hubby fabricated this i for me! He had problem w/ the breading falling off, merely I don't think he dipped the meat in the flour b4 dipping it in the egg. Still tho, then very simple & so yummy. He also added kosher salt, pepper, garlic powder & a little cayenne upon my request (: Seasonings are definitely your friends here!

i used ane/iii lb angus beef patties. I did not precook the patties. I added generous amounts of seasoned common salt, garlic powder, plus cayenne and pepper to the flour mixture. I cooked in 1/2 inch canola oil at medium high rut. We loved it. I volition definitely make once again.

I have fabricated this several times. I use garlic common salt and add onions to hamburger meat. I also utilise cream of mushroom soup for a gravy, also used white sauce and state gravy.

Loved, loved, loved this recipe!! A huge striking with my family. Followed exactly merely added a few extra spices such as garlic powder. Even my super picky child liked information technology! Never fabricated before but hit the jackpot with this one!!! Cheers!!!

While it was easy to make, it smelled amend than information technology tasted and I used a lot of salt and pepper. Even after fully cleaning up and emptying the trash it just stunk up the business firm for the next day and a half. I wouldn't make this again. Perhaps others accept better luck and would bask it more.

The merely thing I changed was my cook times... it was so very close to the original in season that ,I will make this again and again
10/21/2014
Succulent! We have burned out a bit on deer hamburger and this is a definite way to use information technology!

Yous definitely do not need 1 loving cup of flour and 4 eggs, half the ingredients for the frying part.
06/08/2017
this was horable, the meat brutal autonomously couldn't even dip it with out information technology crumbling
04/23/2018
Vivid idea to use ground beef. And so much easier, cheaper, tastes just as good. Did flour, egg, then flour again. Refrigerated covered an hour or so before frying to avert the frustration of loose coating. Great!
11/27/2013
This was ok, only not much flavor. Bland hamburger, and bland breading. Then I seasoned the hamburger with season salt, Worcestershire and fresh cleft blackness pepper, same with eggs, same with flour, so it should have been over seasoned. Simply information technology was even so kind of blah. I dont know what it needs, just information technology needs something. I will figure it out, and ready it. I bet it would be good with ground pork instead of beef.

The flyer at my local Moose Lodge was that if the Ground Pig predicted half-dozen more weeks of winter, I was going to make Craven Fried Ground Grunter for the next Saturday family unit meal. He fabricated the wrong prediction in my opinion.
I added some Craven Fried Yak for those that weren't keen on rodent. (Yak is a breed of cattle, just like Aberdeen Angus)
I also made mashed potatos and gravy using a roux from the ground pork.
Basis Squealer, footing hog, ground pork. Past any other proper name, its still delicious!
The Yak was 93% lean beef to attempt and fool some people that it wasn't beef. It worked.
Made a full of xx meals, sold 19 and ate the last one myself.
Adept recipe. I liked non have to actually buy pork chops (or butcher a bunch of prairie dogs).
PS: The first day of Bound is March 20th. Six weeks and four days after Ground Pig Solar day.

Been making this for years. I like to add a couple pinches of white pepper to the gravy and sauteed onions...
11/25/2015
I used a cast iron skillet which made the crust perfect. Next time I won't brand the patties so thick. Nice recipe

The But Changes For This Would Endeavour For Leaner Footing Beef If On Sale. Less Eggs Whole.Prehaps two Eggs & 2 Whites.Apply two% Milk In Place Of Whole Milk & Y'all Are There!

I enjoyed making this because it was messy and entertaining but the 2nd I took a bite, I regretted wasting my ingredients to get in! I was and then disgusted with this dish. I am just glad that I decided to go far for myself and not my family the first time.
06/18/2020
The gravy wasn't spectacular, but the meat itself was decent. The hamburger patties I used probably needed to be pounded slightly thinner. I'll probably try once again another time but with a few of my own alterations.
07/01/2013
Really good cfs, not similar the one I had at Chilis, just and then....This is made with hamburger meat. It's definitely worth making again!
